We are relatively new land owners and recently had the land converted to an agriculture except (wildlife) status. This is an option in Texas to keep ranch land natural even if you are not raising livestock. Our exception is focused on songbird protection and promotion, and one of the requirements to qualify is to have large bird feeders throughout the property. Most manufactured options are very expensive and were a little too big for our needs. Bird feeders you buy from local stores are mostly meant for backyards and are smaller in scale. So, I decided to build one with some simple parts. 00:00 Introduction 01:44 Make Hoods for Holes 03:50 Make Holes In Feeder 05:17 Add Hoods to Body 07:32 Add Perches 13:32 Add Mounting Rope 20:07 Paint and FInish Affiliate Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
