Holy Bible | 2ND KINGS - Complete Reading (with On-Screen Text)

📖 What you’ll hear: Holy Bible | The Second Book of Kings - Complete Reading with On-Screen Text. ► Quick Sumary: The book opens with Elijah taken up to heaven and Elisha succeeding him as prophet, performing many signs in Israel. In the north, Jehu wipes out the house of Ahab, yet subsequent kings persist in idolatry, culminating in the fall of Samaria and the end of Israel to Assyria. In the south (Judah), amid many wicked reigns, notable renewals appear: Hezekiah overturns idolatry and, through prophetic word (Isaiah) and God’s deliverance, survives Sennacherib’s assault; later, sins under Manasseh mount heavily. Josiah enacts sweeping reforms after the discovery of the “Book of the Law,” purifying the temple and restoring worship, but his death hastens Judah’s decline. At last, God uses Babylon as judgment: Jerusalem is besieged and destroyed, the temple burned, and the people exiled. ► Timestamps: 00:00 Chapter 1 03:55 Chapter 2 08:53 Chapter 3 14:00 Chapter 4 22:04 Chapter 5 27:53 Chapter 6 33:55 Chapter 7 38:48 Chapter 8 44:23 Chapter 9 51:43 Chapter 10 58:53 Chapter 11 01:03:03 Chapter 12 01:07:02 Chapter 13 01:11:43 Chapter 14 01:16:57 Chapter 15 01:23:23 Chapter 16 01:27:10 Chapter 17 01:34:39 Chapter 18 01:41:58 Chapter 19 01:48:49 Chapter 20 01:52:47 Chapter 21 01:57:06 Chapter 22 02:01:06 Chapter 23 02:09:27 Chapter 24 02:13:02 Chapter 25 ► Prayer Lord, speak to my heart through Your Word.
