October 17th, 2026 Tropical Orca Whale Pod off of San Diego Coast

Tropical Orca Whale Pod off of San Diego Coast near Point Loma on 10-17-2026. We went on a whale tour through Gone Whale Watching out of Mission Bay in San Diego, California. We got super fortunate to see the tropical orca pod that had just killed a fin whale that morning and were still feeding on it. Lots of great interactions with the babies and young orcas with lots of cute noises! You can see some of them picking up blobs of what blubber from the whale.
