Guy Gadowsky: Why Gavin McKenna Is PERFECT for the Maple Leafs

Penn State head coach Guy Gadowsky joined Nick Alberga & Jay Rosehill to discuss projected first overall pick Gavin McKenna and why he believes the superstar forward is a perfect fit for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Gadowsky shared his reaction to Toronto winning the NHL Draft Lottery, detailed the recruiting battle that landed McKenna at Penn State, and broke down the standout freshman season that saw him dominate after a slow start. He also explained what makes McKenna so special, highlighting his hockey IQ, natural instincts, confidence, and ability to learn and adapt. Additionally, Gadowsky raved about McKenna's character and coachability, describing him as respectful, humble, and easy to work with. Unsurprisingly, he made it clear that he believes the Leafs should select McKenna first overall. To wrap things up, Gadowsky discussed the transfer portal and the challenges of building and sustaining a successful college hockey program in today's landscape. 🚨 Subscribe to TLN on Youtube!🚨 ➡️    / @dfotoronto   🎙️LMT INTERVIEWS 📺    • Interviews   🎧 LISTEN TO LMT 🎧 ITUNES: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast...
