I have one really big reasons for that. Now I love hearing feedback from you guys and I like engaging with you guys in the comments which is why I offen leave them on! Here are some cool comments from the Edward The Really Useful Engine video, some opinions, some connections, and a really cool idea (which im pretty sure has been done before, but still a cool idea) But there's a sorta plague within the community where people will just comment really REALLY weird stuff. examples from the Really Useful Engine video and a few from other people who post episodes (notably  ‪@sammyamos6126‬ ​​ ) I get these weird comments every once in a while and they usually don't bother me that much but the Edward The Really Useful Engine video really got popular and a lot more of these (almost bot like) comments started appearing on this video and it just got to be too much. So I paused comments on that one video because of that. Should I be blamed? I personally don't think so. Are well meaning comments getting locked out because of these type of comments? Yes, and I am sorry about that. Like I said I love engaging with you all but sometimes there's just too much of a nasty thing that happens which causes me to do something to stop it. Even if it stops the good stuck within the slop out also thank you  ‪@fergus_k4d‬ ​​ for honestly calling me out on this, this is a long overdue post regarding why comments are paused on this 7/2/2026 I have decided to turn comments back on, don't make me regret this
