What is PQNK? My Journey Towards PQNK Farming | Qudrati Nizam e Kashtkari Assalamu Alaikum Dear Farmers and Friends! In this video, I will share my journey and my reason for starting PQNK - Farming. PQNK stands for Paidar Qudrati Nizam-e-Kashtkari (Sustainable Natural Farming System). This is not a new invention. This is the natural system of Allah Almighty, which we also call the Law of the Jungle. In the world, some people call it Permaculture or Regenerative Agriculture. In Pakistan, Dr. Asif Sharif was the pioneer who introduced this system. Inspired by him, many farmers are now adopting it. In our region, Dr. Khalid Shah Khagga from Sahiwal is doing great work, and inspired by him, I have also decided to start. Why PQNK? Because our land is dying. Due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and heavy tractors, our soil has become hard and dead. Its organic matter is almost zero. As a result, our cost is increasing, crops are failing, and diseases are increasing. The only solution is to return to Nature. In this video, I am starting my first experiment of intercropping 2 Acres of Lucerne (Lusun) and Sugarcane (Kamad) under the PQNK system with permanent raised beds and mulching. Please pray for my success. If you like this concept, please SHARE this video so that this message can reach every farmer in Pakistan.
