Cherubim - O Mary — Mother of Light | يا مريم — Ω Μαρία

O Mary — Mother of Light A Ballad to the Holy Theotokos [Verse I ] O Mary, Mother of Light, O star that shines above the seas, In the silence of the night we raise our voice And ask you for peace and hope. O pure Mother of God, O flower blooming in the heavens, Guard our hearts from fear And lead us toward your beloved Son. [Chorus] O Mary, Mother of Light, Gentle shelter, radiant sky. Holy Mary, keep us near, Lead us once again to Christ. O Mary, pure and holy Mother, Receive our silent prayer. And when our hearts are hurting, Be our comfort and our hope again. [Verse II] O our Mother, Mother of tenderness, Be our safety through the night. When my heart loses its way, Guide me toward Christ. O Mary, door of hope, In you we see the light of heaven. Do not leave our souls alone; Be with us in every prayer. [Bridge] O Mother of God, pray for us. Holy Mary, intercede for us. O Mother of Light, do not leave us. Mother, hold us in your embrace. And at the end of the road, we will lift our eyes toward heaven and say with the angels: Hail, Full of Grace! The Lord is with you. [Final Chorus] O Mary, Mother of Light, Holy Mary, Mother of Light. Be our hope through every age, be our hope in heaven. Holy Mary, pure Mother, O Mother of God, pray for us. And when the night becomes too heavy, be with us, Mary, Mother of tenderness. O Mary… Mother of Light… Holy Mary… Mother of Light… Pray for us… Intercede for us… Amen.
