Railfanning Downtown San Diego during friday morning rush hour on 8-24-12

Decided to head down to San Diego on a friday morning for some more last minute pre-quiet zone railfanning in downtown san diego, within a month or so, all of downtown san diego from Laurel Street to PETCO Park will be a quiet zone! So i figured i should probably head down there one last time before the qz starts. I went to Laurel Street, Grape Street, Ash Street, and G. Street for this one. Here is what i caught Train 1: Coaster 634 with cab car 2306 and F40PHM2-C 2104 Train 2: Amtrak 599 with NPCU 90208 and P42DC 91, I apologize for the sound being a little bit behind the actual video clip, i tried to fix that but i couldn't, just try to ignore it. Train 3: Coaster 636 with cab car 2305 and F40PHM2-C 2105. I would normally chase this train to a crossing south of santa fe depot, but today i just thought it would be a little too risky this time cause i parked so far away from the crossing Train 4: Coaster 635 with the same set as 634. F40PHM2-C 2104 leading to Oceanside. I stayed at Grape Street for Coaster 635 instead of going after 636 south of the station, also 2305 has a wimpy K5LA, so it really isnt worth chasing Train 5: Amtrak 567 departs Santa Fe Depot with cab car 6904 and F59PHI 451, an unusual occurance, this train leaves from the coaster track in san diego, normally this train would depart from track 2 in san diego, but not today it didnt Train 6: Coaster 638 at Ash Street with cab car 2309 and F59PHI 3002! This train WAS worth chasing, cause my favorite coaster cab car was leading!! Train 7: Same train cruising past Grape Street with an AMAZING K5LA!!!!!!!!! Train 8: Coaster 640 at Grape Street (Filmed on 6-4-12) with cab car 2301 and F40PHM2-C 2104. On 8-24-12, i was gonna go see 640 at Grape Street, but i could not make it in time because i was at G. Street crossing, the gates were down for 10 minutes straight. So i headed home after 638 passed G. Street, and the clip of Coaster 640 from 6-4-12 was added into the shots to fill in for the shot of the not featured Coaster 640 on 8-24-12. Coaster 640 on 8-24-12 had cab car 2307 and F40PHM2-C 2102. Please Rate, Comment, and Subscribe
