Every hour on the hour, the clock plays one of 6 Hi-Fi melodies with a swinging pendulum. Completed with a monitor button, which allows you to hear the melodies any time regardless of the hourly chime, volume control, on/off switch, and a light sensor, which disengages all music and performances in the dark. So, no worries about your clock ringing when you sleep. In contrast with the predecessor, aka QXM326S (QXM326SRH), this is an underrated 2nd-gen melody model in my opinion, which is not circulating much in the market. Got it from my local e-commerce site, and it was a 'battery leakage' survivor. No issues on the clock's movement and the melody's motherboard; only a small amount of leakage spreads into the pendulum's background that is attached to the back cover, which is barely noticeable in plain sight.
