The First Snow, and My Imperfect Life in Canada | Edmonton, Alberta

The first snow of the season has arrived in Edmonton. Living in Canada, I sometimes feel that I have less experience to rely on, and that my limited English can put me at a disadvantage. I find myself thinking ahead, trying to avoid problems before they happen. Perhaps that is simply how I have learned to go about my life here. Even so, not everything can be anticipated. Sometimes, I still overlook things in everyday life, too. After all, life is never quite as straightforward as we would like it to be.
