Nostalgia Spectrum: Mermaid Madness

Mermaid Madness is a 1986 action-maze game published by Electric Dreams Software for the ZX Spectrum 48K, Amstrad CPC, and Commodore 64. Players control Myrtle the Mermaid, who must swim through a deep underwater maze to rescue Gormless Gordon. You collect items like dynamite to blast through paths, and "stouts" for extra energy. Sea creatures drain your energy on contact. Also misusing dynamite can cause an explosion and end the game. There are little bottles to refill your energy but its too easy to lose health and end the game but once you get the hang of it its not a bad game 😉
