What if World War 3 started by mistake? A realistic day-by-day simulation, Day 1 to Day 200: one false missile alert, then another, and nobody can take it back.
At 2:22 a.m. every phone in North Dakota says a ballistic missile is coming. At 2:51 a second alert says it was a mistake. At 3:04 a third one says it isn't. And a family six miles from a missile field watched what happened in between.
200 days, told only through the people living it: a farm family in the Minot missile field, a daughter 60 feet underground with a launch key, a grandfather in the cellar he dug in 1962, a sister in New Zealand, a small-town radio host who kept talking, and radio voices from Gdańsk, Yakutsk, Delhi and the bottom of the world. Built on the real world of late 2026, and on every real false alarm that came before: 1960, 1979, 1983, 1995, Hawaii 2018.
Who fired first? Nobody knows, until someone tells it on the air.
⚠️ Fictional scenario. All characters, stations, companies, leaders and events are invented; real countries and places are used only as settings, and no side is blamed. Character voices are AI-generated. No AI-generated images or video: maps, scenes and effects are human created; the nuclear test footage is real U.S. government film (public domain); photos and clips are credited below. Numbers on screen come from a model based on published studies, not a forecast!
