This video discusses the prevalence, risk factors, and pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease (PD), Huntington's disease (HD), and dystonia. The altered signaling within the basal ganglia responsible for these conditions is reviewed. Unlike PD, HD involves more nonmotor symptoms early in the disease.
