Our September tour of the Central West Cycle Trail in NSW. 329 km of cycling, commencing from Gulgong. We spend five days following the trail to Dunedoo, Mendooran, the Goonoo Forest National Park, Balimore, Geurie, Wellington, Goolma and back to Gulgong, staying in country pubs. We had excellent weather for the entire trip, with only a couple of frosty mornings to demand some warmer clothing for a short time. The roads were all exceptionally quiet, traffic-free back-roads, mostly good gravel with some rough sections (especially where we had to deal with road-works) and some long sections of good sealed roads. People along the trail were very welcoming toward us. Note: there is an error in the intro text. Day 4 we ended up in Wellington, not Wentworth. 0:35 - Day One 6:21 - Birriwa 8:51 - Magpie madness 9:59 - Day Two 13:58 - Avonside West open plains 16:40 - Mendooran 17:24 - Day Three 19:27 - Goonoo Forest 27:23 - Day Four 31:39 - Wongarbon 37:07 - Macquarie River bridge-works 41:26 - Day Five 46:49 - Uamby Road 51:29 - Gulgong to Maryvale rail-line 52:53 - Beryl
