Sideroads Ep.VII | Sleeping With Lions | A Room With A Zoo

Welcome back to Sideroads — where sometimes you don't need to travel far to find an adventure. For Episode VII, we're heading to West Midland Safari Park for a night that's a little different from your average family getaway. Because this time, we're not just visiting the animals... We're sleeping with them. Our home for the night is one of the Safari Park's incredible Lion Safari Lodges, where huge windows give us a front-row seat to the lions just outside. From exploring the Safari Park and getting up close with some of its incredible animals, to settling into our lodge as the sun goes down, this is a Sideroad that's all about experiencing something completely different. And when night falls and the park goes quiet, there's something pretty surreal about knowing there's a pride of lions just the other side of the glass. Will we actually get any sleep?
