We Had No Water For 4Days...So We Had To Find Another Way.

Life in our unfinished dream home comes with challenges we never imagined. In this simple day at home, I'm caring for our rooftop vegetable garden, watering the plants we've already grown, and preparing new nurseries for the next planting. But while taking care of our garden, we're also facing a bigger challenge: water shortage. After going three to four days without a reliable water supply, I had to find another way to get water for our household. Without a proper water reservoir, getting enough water for everyday consumption becomes difficult. We had to fetch water from another borehole and transport it home using donkeys and jerry cans. It's moments like these that remind us how much a proper water storage tank would mean for our family and our unfinished dream home. Later, I head to the kitchen to prepare dinner for my family. Even with the challenges we face, life continues through the simple routines of gardening, cooking, and caring for our home.
