The Art of Crafting a Melody! 🎶 (Celebrating over 346,000 Views! Thank you to the RajaSaranam Family!) Welcome to Part 03 of the historic Maestro Ilaiyaraaja Composing Sessions. In this rare and deeply insightful video, the Maestro opens up about the true essence of music composition. Watch as Ilaiyaraaja challenges conventional thinking, explaining to M.G.Sreekumar why simply repeating notes or phrasing is "cheating" the art of music. Step inside the studio as he gives a live masterclass, demonstrating how to approach a single lyric and rhythmic meter ("Mano mayilo...") and effortlessly weave entirely new, unpredictable melodic phrases out of it. But the magic doesn't stop there! Witness the genius of his arranging skills as he takes the same melody and asks his musicians to play it over entirely different rhythmic backdrops—shifting seamlessly from a traditional, classic beat to a modern electronic groove. This is a must-watch for aspiring composers, musicians, and every die-hard fan of the Isaignani! RajaSaranam—at the feet of Ilaiyaraaja. 🔔 Support the Channel: If you love witnessing the genius of the Maestro at work, please Like, Share, and Subscribe to RajaSaranam!
