🇯🇵 What Does a Traditional Japanese Breakfast Look Like? (Mt. Fuji, Japan)

With over a dozen dishes for BREAKFAST, how is this authentic meal a part of a healthy Japanese tradition? I am so impressed by the flavors, the presentation, and the wonderful balance of foods that we enjoy here today, and - as my friend Jesper agrees - "if this is Japan's version of toast and eggs, then wow! I'll have this every single day!" Such a treat to be continuing our trip in Fujikawaguchiko, a two hour drive west of Tokyo, a huge cheers to a mega breakfast today! A great way to build excitement for the Fuji KOM race soon to happen (tomorrow), thank you so much for sharing this early morning time with me today.
