Lift Your Eyes (roots reggae, dancehall, dub)

Psalm 5:3 reminds us of the power of morning prayer — turning our hearts toward God before the busyness of the day takes over. There is something sacred about those first moments, when we "direct our prayer" heavenward and "look up." It's a posture of trust, of expectation, and of surrender. We're saying, Lord, I'm not walking into this day alone. I'm walking in with You. And then Psalm 118:24 calls us to rejoice — not because the day will be easy, but because the Lord Himself has made it. Every day is a gift from His hand, filled with His grace and purpose, even when we can't yet see what it holds. 🕊️ A practical encouragement for today: Before you check your phone, before you rush into your to-do list, take just two minutes this morning to pause, breathe, and pray: "Lord, this is Your day. I lift my eyes to You. Fill me with Your peace, guide my steps, and help me see Your goodness in every moment. Amen." Then carry that "looking up" posture with you — whatever comes, you are not facing it alone. A Prayer for Your Day: Heavenly Father, thank You for this day that You have made. We choose to rejoice and be glad in it. May this morning be the beginning of a day filled with Your presence, Your peace, and Your purpose. Direct our paths, guard our hearts, and let Your light shine through us. We lift our eyes to You, trusting that You are already at work in all things. In Jesus' name, Amen. ✝️ May the Lord bless you and keep you today. Walk in His joy and light! 🌅
