GRID PATTERNING

You'll need to find a firm item with holes in it for this colouring technique - cake cooling grid, colander, plastic baskets, milk crates, bread crates ... You'll find all sorts of things in your cupboards or at the op shop or recycling depot at the tip! With fabric poked into the holes and coloured - either before or after 'poking' - you'll create amazing designs for your quilting and patchwork fabrics and upcycle your wardrobe as well.
