Working on the opposite side of the beginning chain, skip 2, put DC into each of the next 3 chains. SL to top of chain2 to join. Tie off change to color b ROW 2: Into a ch 1 space of any corner, Ch 2, 2DC. Into next ch 1 space, make a corner. Granny stitch into the space between the groups of 3DCs from row before. Repeat. Into the ch 1 space of the corner, make 3 DC. Ch 2, turn work ROW 3: 3 DC into the space between the granny stitches from previous row * repeat twice. Corner stitch into next chain one space. Granny stitch. End row with 1 DC into the beginning ch 2 of previous row. Tie off. Turn work. Change to color c ROW 4: Join to the top of last DC from the previous row to start. Ch 2, 2DCs into space between the DC and granny stitch of previous row. Make granny stitches across, then make a corner stitch in the ch 1 spc of the corner of previous row. Continue making granny stitches to the end of the row. Ch 2. Turn work. ROW 5: Beginning in the 1st space between the granny stitches of previous row, make granny stitches across to the corner.
