I tracked down the largest documented fortune in 16 Georgia counties — from Arthur Blank's $13.2 billion Home Depot empire in Fulton County to the Cathy family's $12 billion Chick-fil-A fortune in Fayette County, from Tyler Perry's studio backlot in Douglas County to the Rollins pest control dynasty in Bartow County. Georgia has 159 counties. In most of them, the wealthiest family is private.
