🗓 Date: 12/17/25 🛤 Line: Sydney Trains Richmond Line ✭✭✭ After catching the previous up train at Garfield Street by Riverstone Station, I began walking northwest along the tracks towards this crossing. Here we see the next down train of the morning consisting of a typical 8-car A-set. This crossing is one of the most interesting on the Sydney Trains network. It is both the last gateless crossing on the network and one of the last few featuring a mechanical bell. While the Sydney Trains (and wider New South Wales) rail network used to consist of many mechanical bells, primarily Western Cullen Hayes, most were purged around the mid-2010s. Trains have a 20 km/h speed restriction until the head end clears this crossing, marked with unusual "dangerous crossing" signs some distance down the tracks. ✭✭✭ Timestamps: 0:00 - Signal activation 1:24 - Train 1:58 - Signal deactivation ✭✭✭ Visit my other media platforms here! https://linktr.ee/The_Central_Texas_R...
