Copy your unified FreeLLMAPI API token. Step 4: Install Claude Code CLI if you haven't already. Step 5: Open Terminal on Mac or PowerShell on Windows. Follow the complete setup guide linked above to configure ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL and ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN. Step 6: Run the command: claude-free That's it. Claude Code can now send requests through your FreeLLMAPI gateway and use the free AI models you've connected. ⚠️ 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 The 7.4 billion tokens figure is FreeLLMAPI's estimated combined monthly free-tier capacity across multiple providers, not a guaranteed allocation for every user.
