The protégé of influential social psychologist Carol Dweck, Stanford and Indiana University researcher Mary Murphy shares how growth mindsets transcend individuals and develop on teams. In this talk, Murphy will unpack the the difference between fixed- and growth-mindset cultures, the day-to-day signals leaders send—how they respond to mistakes, feedback, and dissent—and draw on decades of research to offer leaders both a clear-eyed view of their own signals and a concrete framework for changing them.
