ANYONE can Find Gold at Lawson Bar in Oregon!

I have prospected for gold on the South Umpqua River in Oregon for decades, but I never managed to get to Lawson Bar and check it out. We rented a Van and had 8 jammed days to check out several places to prospect for gold and rockhound. Lawson Bar is Open to work for the public. For anyone to prospect. Lawson Bar is located just of of Interstate 5 South of Roseburg and North of Canyonville. The access is incredibly easy to get to and the river area is great. This summer day the river was warm and the water was great. Sampling for gold in several spots my last one turned out to be the best one and gave me a solid gold day for only bringing 4 tools with me. 2 Gold pans, a pick, and a sluice that I couldn't even use here since the water was so low and slow.
