Windermere, Derwent Water, Ullswater, Fells and a Campervan Called Brown George

We pointed Brown George north and headed for the Lake District — and it might just be our favourite UK trip yet. Lakeside walks at Ullswater, winding fell roads, sunshine on the water and a brew with the best view in England. In this video: We stayed at The Camping and Caravaning Club sites in Bowness, Derwent Water Keswick, and then at Waterfoot Park Pooley Bridge. All three sites gave walking distance access to the towns and lakes. Derwent Water C&CC site was our favourite. New here?
