Dallas (1978) Cast Then and Now 2026: What Happened to the Cast After 48 Years? Dallas (1978) cast then and now: 48 years later, here's what really happened to the actors who played the Ewing family on the most-watched primetime drama in American television history. This video revisits the full cast of Dallas, the CBS classic built around the Ewing oil family at Southfork Ranch and its most famous storyline, the 1980 "Who Shot J.R.?" mystery that drew more than 80 million American viewers and was watched by hundreds of millions more around the world, including here in the UK. You'll see what happened to Larry Hagman (J.R. Ewing), Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing), Linda Gray (Sue Ellen), Victoria Principal (Pam), Barbara Bel Geddes (Miss Ellie), and the rest of the Ewing family and their rivals, including which stars are still working and giving interviews today, which ones quietly walked away from Hollywood to build entirely different careers, and which members of the cast have passed away in the decades since the show ended in 1991. Along the way, we cover two true behind-the-scenes production stories the official biographies rarely mention, plus the real identity behind the most famous cliffhanger in American television history. NNT-ANH makes warm, carefully researched "cast then and now" documentaries about classic American and British television shows from the 1950s through the 1990s, built on verified facts from official sources rather than guesswork or shock value. If this trip back to Southfork Ranch brought back memories, subscribe for a new classic TV cast retrospective every week, and let us know in the comments which show we should cover next. #Dallas1978 #CastThenAndNow #WhoShotJR #ThenAndNow #ClassicTV #Nostalgia #WhereAreTheyNow
