One Step At A Time - An SPS Original

Written by our students Joash Goh, Joseph Tan, John Raphael, Lucas Florendo, Zavdiel Seow Performed by our students, Joash Goh, Raffan Faris, Rayhan Faris, John Raphael, Tyler Foong, Benedict Chong at the SYF Youthstation 2026 Our song, “One Step at a Time,” was inspired by feelings of struggle, isolation, and the desire to overcome challenges. The lyrics reflect moments of doubt and sadness but also hope and perseverance. As a group, we shared personal experiences and built a theme around pushing through hard times. We developed the song by combining our ideas for lyrics, chords, and melody, then refining it together. The final piece expresses growth and resilience, showing that even in darkness, progress can be made step by step.
