Taste & See (Portrait) | When GOD’S PLAN Doesn’t Look Like You Expected…DON’T GET OFFENDED | John 12

What happens when GOD'S PLAN doesn't look anything like you expected? In this episode of Taste & See, Joshua Tufano walks through John 12 and uncovers powerful truths about worship, guarding your heart, avoiding offense toward God, dying to yourself, overcoming the fear of man and following Jesus even when you don't understand the road He's taking you on. God may show you the DESTINATION without showing you the ROAD. That's where trust comes in. 🔥 In this episode: 🔥 Why you don't have to earn God's attention—you already have it 🔥 Serving God from gratitude instead of striving 🔥 What Mary's costly worship teaches us about true worship 🔥 Carrying the “fragrance” of worship everywhere you go 🔥 Judas, money and checking the motivations of your heart 🔥 Why Proverbs 4:23 says to guard your heart with all diligence 🔥 How what you allow into your heart eventually comes out of your life 🔥 Guarding yourself against bitterness, jealousy, fear and discouragement 🔥 Why people can become offended when God doesn't move as expected 🔥 What Joseph teaches us about trusting an unexpected process 🔥 Why Jesus said a grain of wheat must die to produce much fruit 🔥 The danger of loving the praise of people more than the praise of God 🔥 Why evidence alone cannot change a heart determined not to believe 🔥 Walking in the light instead of darkness Mary wasn't serving Jesus to GET His attention. She already had it. She worshiped Him from a place of love, gratitude and relationship. That's the difference between striving FOR God's acceptance and serving FROM the knowledge that you are already loved and accepted by Him. But John 12 also gives us a warning: GUARD YOUR HEART. The same crowd celebrating Jesus as King would soon include people calling for His crucifixion. Why? Jesus wasn't fulfilling their expectations of the Messiah the way they thought He should. And we can fall into the same trap. God gives you a vision. God gives you a promise. God shows you where He's taking you. Then the ROAD looks completely different from what you imagined. Don't allow disappointment to become OFFENSE toward God. Think about Joseph. God showed him the destination—but Joseph couldn't have imagined that the road would include betrayal, slavery and imprisonment. Yet God was still leading him toward the promise. You may not understand the road. You may not understand the timing. You may not understand why God is doing something the way He's doing it. But GUARD YOUR HEART. Trust Him. Stay in the light. Keep worshiping. Keep following Jesus. And don't predetermine what God's plan has to look like. 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES: 📖 Psalm 34:8 📖 John 12 📖 Proverbs 4:23 📖 Zechariah 9:9 📖 John 12:24–26 📖 John 12:35–36 Come in one way…leave another. 📌 CONNECT WITH US: 🌐 Website: https://www.3pointturn.org 📚 Books & Merch: https://www.3pointturn.org/category/a... ▶️ YouTube:    / @3pointturnministries   📸 Instagram:   / 3.pointturn   📘 Facebook:   / 3pointturn   🎵 TikTok:   / 3.point.turn   𝕏 https://x.com/3PointTurnMin ❤️ SUPPORT 3 POINT TURN MINISTRIES: 💳 Credit/Debit: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-... 💙 Venmo: @ThreePointTurn 🅿️ PayPal: 3 Point Turn Ministries 🏦 Zelle: (909) 630-3582 ✉️ Checks: 3 Point Turn Ministries P.O.
