[NoniMotto]
No gimmicks. Only the raw power of the Heavy Industrial Blues.
Midnight at the steel mill. Twenty tons of molten fire hanging in the ladle, the crane motor dead, and twelve men with nothing but chains and iron nerve. Thick slide guitar, a driving heavy beat, and a wall of raw power. Great for a workout playlist, a late night drive, deep focus work, or any night that needs some steel in it.
[Lyrics]
[Verse 1]
Midnight whistle screams, and the furnace glows red
Twenty tons of fire in the ladle overhead
Sweat on my back and a hammer in my hand
Twelve men swinging like a mighty iron band
[Verse 2]
The crane motor coughs, then it shudders and dies
Ladle hanging over us, glowing in our eyes
The steel starts crusting over, going dark and dull
Foreman roars, Grab them chains, men, and pull, boys, pull
[Chorus]
Pour, brother, pour, let the fire come on down
Hot as the devil and heavy as a whole town
Iron on iron, we're a hammer and a drum
Beat it into shape till the bright morning come
[Verse 3]
The sweat runs down and it sizzles on the floor
The heat's so thick you can't draw a breath no more
Shadows on the wall like the ghosts of the old crew
Fathers and their fathers, and the work they used to do
[Chorus]
Pour, brother, pour, let the fire come on down
Hot as the devil and heavy as a whole town
Iron on iron, we're a hammer and a drum
Beat it into shape till the bright morning come
[Bridge]
Thirty years on this floor, and my back is bent
Every drop of sweat was how I paid the rent
But I never saw a night that burned so bright
Brothers by my side in the heat and the light
[Verse 4]
Old Earl climbs the gantry with his wrench held high
Says, I've fixed this crane since before you could cry
One loud clank, two loud clanks, and the gears bite down
The crane groans back to life with a mighty sound
[Final Verse]
The ladle tips slow, and the fire pours free
A river of orange as bright as it can be
The dawn whistle blows, and the last mold is full
Twelve soot-faced men who beat a hundred-ton pull
[Final Chorus]
Pour, brother, pour, now we've beat the fire down
Steel for a brand new bridge on the edge of town
Iron on iron, the hammer and the drum
Twelve tired men, and the bright new morning has come
[Final Chorus 2]
Pour, brother, pour, now let the whole wide world know
Twelve men and a fire made the mighty steel flow
Iron on iron, and the hammer never rests
Twelve proud men with the fire in all their chests
