Halloween Event // NEW FINAL ENCOUNTER

PokéSurvivor's Halloween event is here, and the boss at the end of the 30 minutes is The Great Gengar. So I went in as Gengar. The captions explain the whole strategy as it happens: Every rift has a legendary inside. Beat it and you get a bond, which makes two moves fire together from one slot. After the 3rd rift, all 4 of my moves were bonded (Shadow Ball + Nasty Plot + Ominous Wind + Hex). From there I stopped going into rifts and took the hard bonus instead. Late in the run I took Vigor over and over to stack HP for the boss. Right before Gengar I swapped Choice Scarf for Choice Band (+40% damage). Final run: Survived 30:48 – level 243 21,380 defeated, 8 bosses, 8 legendaries 48 seconds vs The Great Gengar, 544,439 damage to him 381 million total damage (Hex 172M, Shadow Ball 155M) 9 shinies, 6 of them new If you have a better Gengar build, I'd really appreciate it in the comments. I'll try the best one next. If you enjoyed it, subscribing helps a lot. I'm working toward my first 100.
