A song for my brother Mike Tor (杜祥山), from his little sister Choon. His Chinese name means mountain, and he has lived up to it: leading the emergency power project at the Petronas Twin Towers in 1995, winning first prize in the very first bird photography contest he entered, and facing every hard season with faith that with God nothing is impossible. In December 2024, four of us sisters flew in from New Zealand (Hong), Australia (Doris and Yenna) and the USA (Choon) to visit him in Johor Bahru. The photos of birds in this video are his.
Version 2 (4K, for TV and big screens). The lyrics fill in word by word, so sing along.

LYRICS
VERSE 1
They handed him the Twin Towers in nineteen ninety-five,
Seven giant generators to keep the lights alive.
No one had walked that road before, no map, no rule, no guide,
But Mike Tor rolled his sleeves up, with the Lord there by his side.
VERSE 2
The hardest giant that he faced was never made of steel,
It was the voice of doubt inside that told him fear was real.
He counted every battle won and took the next small stride,
And year by year that voice grew still, and faith grew strong inside.
CHORUS
For with God nothing shall be impossible,
He stood like a mountain, steady and tall,
Through the storm and the doubt, he faced it all,
Mike Tor of Johor, unshakable.
VERSE 3
Now the hard hat's on the shelf, he's up before the sun,
With a lens as long as his arm and patience second to none.
The kingfisher in blue and rust, the hornbill gold and black,
He waits for hours, still as stone, until the birds fly back.
VERSE 4
The very first time he entered, he came home with first prize,
A flock of birds in Vietnam, wing to wing across the skies.
He wrote, "Together we are safer than any bird alone,"
Now he guards the forest, so the wild ones keep their home.
CHORUS
For with God nothing shall be impossible,
He stood like a mountain, steady and tall,
Through the storm and the doubt, he faced it all,
Mike Tor of Johor, unshakable.
BRIDGE
I'm your little sister, and I've watched you all these years,
Your name means mountain, and you climbed them through the fears.
Four sisters flew across the seas and knocked upon your door,
A little flock that found its way to you in Johor.
You told us "Mission Impossible" is where we meet the Lord,
And every giant falls before a sling, a stone, His Word.
FINAL CHORUS
The sea will part, the ark will float, the giant will fall,
For with God nothing shall be impossible,
He stood like a mountain, steady and tall,
Through the storm and the doubt, he faced it all,
Mike Tor of Johor, unshakable.
OUTRO
High on the mountain, the hornbill calls,
With God, nothing is impossible.
Written by Mike's little sister, Choon
For my brother Mike, steady as the mountain in his name, with love.
