Sunday Versys Ride from Ramos, Tarlac to Balete Pass-Malico Road. Using our Versys 1100, we rode towards San Jose City, Nueva Ecija passing through Pura, Tarlac then to Guimba, Sto Domingo, and Munoz. After our fuel top up and breakfast at Petron in San Jose, we continued towards the Nueva Ecija-Nueva Vizcaya boundary where Balete Pass National Shrine is located. We visited the Battle Pass monument, Japanese Garden, Chinese Garden and the American monument dedicated to the members of US Army 25th division who fought in that area during WWII. We then proceeded to Sta Fe, Nueva Vizcaya for lunch at the Mrs. G restaurant. The food was so yummy. We then took the Villa Verde road towards San Nicolas. The weather was good and the road is really scenic. The ridges of Caraballo mountains vividly defines the line between the lush green steep slopes and the clear blue skies above. Took our time to leisurely sip coffee at the One Story Café overlooking the hazy bluish plains of Pangasinan while watching the mid afternoon sun preparing to start setting. The drone flight from Jax’s 360 degree View Deck was exciting, especially when the drone climbs up to its maximum altitude, when you just have to rely heavily on the visuals from the RC screen. The view of the twisty road lying on the mountain slopes is magnificent. Taking the San Nicolas-Tayug-Rosales-TPLEX to Ramos, Tarlac completes the counter-clockwise Sunday Versys Ride to Balete Pass-Malico-Ramos loop.
