From a Life of Crime to The Sopranos, 24, and Entourage: Louis Lombardi

Louis Lombardi's childhood was defined by loss and crime. His father was killed when he was 3 years old. His grandfather was sentenced to 60 years in prison. His two uncles went to prison. His brother went to prison. His grandmother had also served time. By age 5, Louis was visiting federal prisons. By 10, he was hustling on the streets. By 11, he was running gambling dens. But Louis managed to break the family cycle. Against all odds, he left the Bronx, drove to Los Angeles, and never looked back. He never attended acting school. Oliver Stone gave him his SAG card on Natural Born Killers. From there, he landed roles on The Sopranos, 24 (appearing in 48 episodes and earning an Emmy nomination as part of the ensemble), and Entourage. Today, he is developing multiple projects with MGM, including Small Time—a series based on his life growing up in the Bronx—executive produced by Swizz Beatz and Chris Brancato. He also runs AVALOU’s Italian Pizza with his daughter, continuing the culinary legacy passed down by his grandmothers.
