Oncode Accelerator Summit '25: Jessica McDonough, Attivare Therapeutics' new Demonstrator Project

On December 4th, Oncode Accelerator hosted its 2025 Summit themed 'From Innovation to Impact' in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. During her presentation, Jessica McDonough, Co-founder and COO of Attivare Therapeutics, a spin-out from the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, announced Attivare has joined the Oncode Accelerator program to launch a new Demonstrator Project. The project will integrate Organ-on-a-Chip technology from MIMETAS with Attivare's novel therapeutic vaccine platform to develop more effective treatments for hard-to-treat cancers. Oncode Accelerator is a public-private partnership that is partially funded by the Dutch National Growth Fund (NGF), aiming to innovate and accelerate the development of new cancer therapies by placing cancer patients at the core of preclinical therapy development. It is a collaboration between six coordinating partners: Leiden University, Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Princess Máxima Center, UMC Utrecht and the Oncode Accelerator Foundation. https://www.oncodeaccelerator.nl
