UNIMOG PORTAL SEAL REBUILD

Follow along as I show you how I replace the portal seals on the Unimog without the special tools. This is just how I do it using the gear we’ve got — no fancy workshop, just making do with what we have. We’ve partnered with INOX for this one — a brand I’ve used pretty much every day since I first started tinkering with cars and trucks. If you’re following along, I recommend their MX8 grease for the bearings — it makes the job a whole lot easier and helps keep everything in place during install.
