The £2 Bottle of Fabric Conditioner That’s Quietly Ruining Your Washing Machine

There is a two pound bottle of fabric conditioner sitting next to most machines in this country, and it is half the reason behind a fault the trade calls scrud, a grey wax that builds up where nobody checks. Washing at thirty degrees is the other half. I spent forty-five years on house calls round Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, and this is the one that cost people the most without them ever knowing why. I will show you six places it shows up and the one wash a month that undoes it. Forty-five years of other people's machines, so you don't pay for the same mistakes. Subscribe, and I'll tell you what I'd tell my own family. #washingmachine #fabricconditioner #scrud #applianceman #laundrytips
