Adding a bust dart to a bodice basic bodice block is really simple. There are many methods of adding a bust dart to a pattern, but many require that you have another dart already drafted and pivoting that dart to the bust area. However, a basic bodice block only has a waist dart; and therefore, there is no way of shifting the dart while still maintaining the waist dart. While the method I used in this video will not be best for every project, it is a fast way to easily add more shape to a pattern without being too complicated. If you don't already have a basic bodice lock here is a link for by blog post on how to draft one!    • Drafting a Bodice Block | Pattern Drafting...   Needed measurements: (Front) High Point of Shoulder, HPS to waist (Back) HPS to waist The tools is used: Designing Ruler or PatternMaster: (*) https://amzn.to/3naMjwY French curve ruler : (*) https://amzn.to/351XmSJ 12-Inch Transparent Ruler: (*) https://amzn.to/3o4oAj9 Tracing wheel: (*) https://amzn.to/3pJBa8f Pattern paper: (*) https://amzn.to/3tsUqcy Social Media: Blog: https://www.PuttingOnNative.com/ Instagram:   / puttingonnative   Twitter:   / puttingonnative   I post every Sunday and Thursday if you have an video suggestions let me know!
