START THE MORNING WITH COURAGE TO GO ON | Sung Psalms of David to Stand Firm

"For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried... but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." Silver in the ancient world was refined by fire. The metal was heated until the impurities rose to the surface and could be skimmed away, and the refiner could not walk off and leave it — too little heat and nothing happened, too much and the silver was lost. He stayed at the furnace the whole time, watching. That is the picture this psalm uses for the long season you may be in right now: not abandonment, but a Refiner who never leaves the fire. And the psalm does not end in the furnace. It ends with the way out: into a wealthy place. 15 sung psalms in ancient Hebrew Christian style — the waiting that is walking on, the breath taken to continue, the hand that upholds, the feet set on high places, the silver that comes out refined and the tree that bears fruit in old age. ✨ What This Album Will Do For You: → Give you courage to keep going when you are tired of waiting → Carry an hour and a half of your day with the strength of God that holds you → Close with the loveliest promise for the years: they shall still bring forth fruit in old age If you need psalms for gratitude, peace, healing, or protection, check the playlists on my channel.
