Just a random recording I took while in Chasm of Xal'Goroth's Praetor Fight arena, showcasing some in-game exclusive stems from light combat to heavy combat. The OST mix is nearly 8 minutes long yet somehow still doesn't have everything haha. Light combat up until 5:40, heavy combat for all the rest! If you listen to Dark Ages' music here on Youtube, you're likely aware the base game introduced alternate bass guitar stems that play randomly during combat and exclusively for certain encounters. Sadly Revelations seems to not have bass stems, but it does have synth-focused alternate stems that feel very similar in tone, most of which aren't in the OST mixes. A lot of that I've captured here. The low-key synth melody part at 9:53 and 10:23 with the drums behind it is shockingly good. If you had told me this song from came from Finishing Move, I don't think I would've believed you haha. The light combat could be played during Mars Core and I wouldn't bat an eye. It's so different to their base game style. They either were told to stay away from synth in the base game like how Mick was initially told to stay away from guitar for 2016, or they spent the entire year after Dark Ages' launch honing their synthwork haha. Their Cosmic songs had some neat synth too just not as upfront as Revelations, so I'm thinking it was a creative decision. Composed by Finishing Move. Image is just some official concept art!
