ORDER OF WORSHIP PRELUDE: LIGHTING OF CANDLES: OPENING OF THE BIBLE: CALL TO WORSHIP: Psalm 78: 1-3 My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. PRAISE AND WORSHIP : OPENING PRAYER : Liturgist RESPONSIVE READING : Psalm 78: 4,14-16 L - We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. C - He did miracles in the sight of their ancestors in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan. L - He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall. C – He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night. A – He split the rocks in the wilderness and gave them water as abundant as the seas; he brought streams out of a rocky crag and made water flow down like rivers. RESPONSE: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. MESSAGE THROUGH SONG: MESSAGE OF LIFE: OFFERING/PRAYER: Malachi 3: 10 Bring the full amount of your tithes, to the Temple, so that there will be plenty food there. Put me to the test and you will see that I will open the windows of heaven and pour out on you in abundance all kinds of good things.  RESPONSE: Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise him all creatures here below. Praise him above the heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. AMEN CLOSING SONG : “TRUST AND OBEY” When we walk with the Lord in the light of his word, what a glory he sheds on our way! While we do his good will, he abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey. Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
