I Wasn't Ready for My First Day in Nigeria

Why does my husband love Nigeria so much? I came to Lagos to find out for myself. 🇳🇬 My first day was a roller coaster — an overwhelming arrival, two in-flight meals 😂, my first look at Lagos, and dinner with our Nigerian friend. We tried snail, oxtail, jollof rice, plantain and okra soup… and somehow the food started changing my first impression of Nigeria. This is only my first day here, not my final judgment on Nigeria. I’m going to keep exploring and see the side of this country that my husband loves.
