What Being a Hospitalist Attending Is Really Like | Week in My Life [VLOG]

In this vlog, I share daily reflections from a full week caring for hospitalized patients—from managing new admissions and coordinating safe discharges to teaching clinical medicine and working alongside advanced practice providers, nurses, case managers, social workers, residents, and the rest of the healthcare team. You’ll also see how I try to maintain balance through running, Run Club, time with my dog, and involvement with The Kindness Coalition—an initiative I founded to promote kindness and stronger relationships among healthcare workers. More than anything, this week reminded me that medicine is not simply about finding the textbook diagnosis. It is about understanding the circumstances affecting each patient, meeting people where they are, knowing when to ask for help, and leaving each day confident that you gave your patients your best.
