Another great application for the D-Lab K1 module. I did not know that the HQ-100 lacked the capability for use with a transmitter, well now it does. I developed these modules to be universal. This was a perfect fit, solved the need. Wish I came up with this 50 years ago! So, lets discuss safety. As you know, these old receivers operated on high level DC voltages (300-450VDC) On many receivers, this voltage is present on exposed terminal boards. You can easily contact this hazard, if your lucky, just receive a poke. In the old days, this was understood, now, No not acceptable. I am on a mission to keep the high voltage inside of the receivers, protect you. If a radio with this situation comes into my shop, I will ensure that the high voltage is contained. I do not want newbees in the hobby to be injured / loose faith. If you want a module, drop me a line. If you do not feel comfortable with this update, I will also install these into your receiver. We will just have to arrange transport requirements. Thanks to all, for keeping me on track! TD
