ONE THING SHOULD NEVER CHANGE: RESPECT. These past few months, ang dami nang nangyari sa Cartoneyshun, especially since nagsimula ang KAMAO ni Anton. Hindi naman natin maikakaila na may LL sa show and nagkaroon na rin sila ng sariling fandom. Pero habang dumarami ang ships ni Anton outside CARTON, dumadami rin ang bashers. And unfortunately, madalas ang mga babae sa ships ang napag-iinitan. We’ve seen what happened after Carmelle’s concert, especially with the issue surrounding that photo. Carmelle herself went live and reminded everyone not to engage with the bashers, kahit siya mismo ang dehado that time. Honestly, I was disappointed with Anton then because he stayed silent while Carmelle was dealing with the bashing, especially during her first-ever solo concert after PBB. But recently, I saw a clip of Anton giving a message to his other ship, and I believe it applies to everyone. It’s good to see him becoming more vocal about these things now. At the same time, let’s remember that Anton is professional when it comes to his work and knows his boundaries as an actor. Sometimes, may pinapagawa sa kanya ang director or production to promote the show, and that’s part of his job. Kitang-kita naman, di ba? Not every work-related interaction needs to be taken personally. Lalo na ngayon na may mga umaatake sa “LOLA’S OF CARTON” and even wishing na sana mamatay na sila. That is NEVER okay. Tapos papasok pa mismo sa live ni Carmelle para mag-spam ng ibang ship at magsabi ng masasakit na salita. We all know Carmelle is strong and can stand up for herself, but seeing both of them handle things with boundaries and professionalism is what we should also learn from. And to all Couriers, reminder lang: WAG NA PATULAN ANG BASHERS. If you own or manage an account with a big following and you see hateful comments, do your part… DELETE and BLOCK. Instead of replying and giving them more engagement, tag the account owner/admin and ask them to block. Kaya sila dumadami kasi hinahayaan silang mag-stay at magkalat ng negativity.
