Necklace Project - Mixing Maille & Chain

A simple but effective necklace mixing chain mail with stainless steel chain! The chain is 2.4mm wide - any chain will suffice, as long as you can pass a ring through the eye of the links. Rings used: ID: 6.60mm (1/4”) 19 SWG, AR 6.6 ID: 3.45mm (9/64”) 19 SWG, AR 3.45 The bead cages take 6mm beads. The rings that I used to go through the chain and connect the pieces are ID: 3.25mm (1/8”) 20 AWG, AR 4; but you can use whatever fits through your chain.
