SoCal Vet MX at Glen Helen Arroyo track, 092026, 70+ Expert, moto 1, KTM 350 SXF

I was race 4 but two red flags in the first moto of the day for race 1 got into my head a little bit. The second red flag was as a result of a rider going down as he approached the first turn and was badly injured. We're not kids anymore and I sure hope that rider will recover from his injuries. Apparently I was asleep when the gate fell and ended up with a poor start. Unlike a couple weeks back, I picked some good lines on the first couple laps and made some quick passes. The two in front of me are not in my class so I didn't need to push it. Cruised it in to the finish.
