The northernmost thru-hike you can do (NPL)

And the paperwork process has taken more than a year. So I did this hike after the told me "we need another 7-8 months to work on your case". To avoid going insane by the frustration obviously. I started the 7th of April 2026, and reached the North Cape 131 days later. Still no reply from the government crazily enough. So I'll start thinking about a new project to kill time now! This was the first time I've hiked longer than a few days continuously. But I've been "living" outside and in cars for a bunch of years, so mentally and physically this was a very nice experience for me. As a hungry guy, the lack of unlimited food was the hardest part. And I ended up loosing 12 kg's over the months walking. I've been very strict during the entire trip, about "shortcuts". So I've carried the backpack every single meter. Walked every single step on my own two feet. And laid out the trail so that I'm only getting food and gear at stores I'm willing to walk past myself. This makes the logistics and walking more challenging. But a thru hike where you shuttle to stores, and back to trail heads doesn't seem appealing to me. Getting out of a car at the southern most point of the country. And getting into on 131 days later at the North Cape is a very unique experience, and I'm glad I did it this way.
