When she manages to get pregnant she decides to surprise her husband. But she has a car accident, miscarries and is seriously injured, although she tries to rebuild her life. But the doctor tells her that the seriousness persists and seems to be getting worse. This contributes to her isolation, because her husband distances himself and his colleagues, and the family in general. Her situation becomes untenable and she decides to leave home without telling anyone.
